Project Management
Zoetica Environmental Research Services is able to manage your projects seamlessly through over 3000 years of collective experience of 232 expert level personnel, along with unique internet management tools designed into the ZoeticaNet management portal. We use state of the art project management software, which links our team of experts participating on ZoeticaNet through the back end of this website (accessed via 'partner pages' on this site), enabling interdisciplinary discussion, online boardroom meetings, and timeline and budget management. We've developed a system that allows the best scientists in the world to work together to produce amazing results.
First, we hand-picked the best independent and company- or university- affiliated professionals in their respective fields, and trained them on how to participate in projects that require their skills, using our internal online ZoeticaNet management system and online boardroom.
Second, one of our senior staff members is assigned to oversee the personnel, budget, timeline and quality control for each new project; and
Third, the most appropriate scientists are invited to participate through the internal portal, which allows our professionals to view their budgets and timelines, and to freely interact with one another, where interdisciplinary exchanges are needed.
Our management system presents a unique opportunity for collaboration among some of the top scientists, who would otherwise find it very difficult to work with one another due to geographic distance.

Sample Project 1: Multidisciplinary Reviews of Back River Mine Project, Nunavut
The Back River Mining Project, owned by Sabina Gold and Silver Corp, is a gold property in the western Kitikmeot region of Nunavut. The mine would use conventional open pit and underground methods. Starting in 2011, Dr. Bears of Zoetica was retained by the KIA to review technical documents for this project, including the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS), monitoring reports, site design changes, and discipline-specific technical reports. Dr. Bears provided detailed reviews for all terrestrial and wildlife documents, and for the ecological and human health risk assessments. Dr. Bears was also heavily involved in site visits, meetings, and hearings. Zoetica also managed other discipline experts in reviewing the project, and compiled reviews focused on: fisheries, hydrogeology, water quality, soils, air quality, ecotoxicology, geotechnical engineering, and socio-economics.
